Citizens Bank is dropping
ICE detention companies!
You've heard the stories that come out of the facilities run by CoreCivic and The GEO Group. 911 dispatchers flooded with calls. Severe medical neglect. Children locked up for months on end. But for years, even as the heartbreaking stories poured out of ICE detention centers, Citizens Bank kept pouring money into them.
Until now.

After months of pressure, Citizens Bank announced on July 17 that it will exit its lending relationships with CoreCivic and GEO Group. This is a huge win, but it's not the finish line. We'll be watching public filings to make sure they follow through.
Take the De-ICE Citizens Bank pledge
No company should profit from harmful detention practices without consequences. Until Citizens Bank ends its relationships with ICE detention operators, I'll work to educate my community about their involvement,
end their partnerships, and demand accountability from their leadership.
